Now that the good weather is starting and spring is just around the corner, it’s time to start looking for plans to enjoy the outdoors with your partner or family. At Lasose Properties & Investments we give you a selection of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona to spend these spring days.
La Ciudadela
This is one of the best parks in Barcelona, located next to the zoo, where you can do a lot of activities in all its areas, such as walking, cycling, taking a boat ride or even organize picnics around its green areas.
La Tamarita gardens
Located in the San Gervasio neighbourhood, it has two clearly differentiated areas: one for the little ones with a play area and one part for strolling and enjoying its stately gardens. It is perfect for the hottest days, as it has numerous shady areas.
Villa Cecilia and Santa Amelia
Located in the Sarriá neighbourhood, these two parks have magnificent gardens. There are separate activities and play areas for different ages, such as a toy library for the youngest family members, and other areas with ping-pong tables and a basketball court. You can also go cycling or scooter riding in these parks and there are different terraces where you can take a break or simply have a drink in the open air.
Eina Park or Els Jardins de Sentmenat
This is a fairly large park where you can also do different activities, such as cycling, playing in general (there are specific areas for children) as well as simply enjoy the green areas. There are also terrace cafes where you can have a snack or a meal.
Grec Gardens
Its name is related to the theatre it houses, an old quarry that was converted in 1929 into an open-air theatre, built in the form of an ancient Greek theatre. It is a very pleasant place to go during the day, as it is usually empty and is a place which children can enjoy. This is where the Grec Festival of Barcelona is held at night. It also has a viewpoint, a central garden and spectacular views of Barcelona.
