The most expensive but also the most exclusive districts of Barcelona are Les Corts and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi.
Les Corts
In Les Corts there are 3 neighbourhoods:
- One is the neighbourhood of the same name, which is a middle-class residential area and where the commercial axis of Avenida Diagonal stands out.
- La Maternitat i Sant Ramon is an area to the left, towards the Llobregat side. The most remarkable thing about this neighbourhood is that it is close to the FC Barcelona stadium and the university grounds.
- Finally, Pedralbes is considered one of the most select and exclusive residential areas of the city, where you can find luxurious houses and mansions, as well as luxury flats.
Sarrià-Sant Sant Gervasi
Sarrià-Sant Sant Gervasi encompasses six neighbourhoods:
- Putxet i Farró, which is formed by Putxet to the north and Farró to the south. Having been a summer resort for the bourgeoisie in the past, here you can find magnificent low houses with beautiful interior courtyards.
- Sarrià is one of the most expensive areas of Barcelona, where it’s possible to see everything from luxury flats to single-family homes.
- Sant Gervasi la Bonanova is the hilliest part of this area, as it is located very close to the Collserola mountain range.
- Sant Gervasi Galvany is the lower part and here you can also find detatched homes and high-end flats, in a place with a good amount of shops and businesses.
- Las Tres Torres is an upper-end residential area with good facilities and services, although there is hardly any commercial activity.
- Vallvidrera, Tibidabo and Les Planes are the residential areas furthest from the city centre, located in the Collserola mountain range, where you can find detached houses.
